Orchy

The Orchy application area covers approximately 250 km² of highly prospective ground lying adjacent to the Cononish Gold Mine and in close proximity to the Tyndrum Fault, a known structural conduit that has controlled the distribution of mineralised quartz–gold lode veining.

A tranche of historic exploration data provided by joint venture partners Acrux Gold Limited has been re-analysed and reviewed, further highlighting the strong prospectivity of the area. Key findings include:

  • Multiple high-grade gold veins and polymetallic breccia pipes identified over a 100km2 area.
  • 2,176 drainage, float, and outcrop samples were collected, including:
    • Outcrop grab samples up to 383.2 g/t Au. *
    • Float samples grading up to 358.9 g/t Au.
    • Nearly 25% of stream sediment samples highly anomalous in gold (≥0.1 g/t Au). *
  • Gold bearing structures defined from NQ and AQ drilling never tested along strike*1, including:
    • 2m @ 12.85 g/t Au, > 200g/t Ag, from 4m [hole BUAQ1, quartz vein].
    • 12m @ 1.45 g/t Au from surface, including 0.5m @ 12.31 g/t Au [hole BenUL-B, lamprophyre breccia pipe].
  • Extensive deep overburden and soil surveys have outlined concealed linear, vein-like features that represent untested, drill-ready geochemical targets.
