The Knapdale property is approximately 70km west of the city of Glasgow and 50km south of the town of Oban in the uplands of the west coast of Scotland.
Knapdale is an early exploration stage project prospective for orogenic quartz-gold-silver lodes, comprising three contiguous sub-properties:
Prospecting Agreements were acquired by WGE’s wholly owned subsidiary Lorne Resources, and include surface access rights, and base metal and gold and silver mining rights agreements at Stronchullin.
The forthcoming phase of exploration will focus on the old Stronchullin mine, situated on the Stronachullin Estate.
The targeting of historic mines and gold occurrences in this area will allow WGE to develop an initial resource estimate.
